Hunting

L and J High Point Trophy Hunting Preserve will cater to your hunting needs on a per-hunter basis. Included with your hunt is all the permits, guides, field dressing and hauling your animal out of the woods. You let us know what you need, and we will try take care of it.

There are several different methods of hunting: ground stand, tree stand, still hunting or stalking. So, whether you’re using a rifle, bow, handgun, or muzzle loader, you’re practically assured of taking home “The Big One”. And remember, “No game, no pay!” If the deer are not moving, we are more than happy to put on a couple drives to get them moving for you.

Any legal weapon can be used at any time during our hunts, such as a handgun, shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader, compound bow, long bow, crossbow, etc.  We do not allow hunting with spears or knives.

Also, we do not allow ATVs other than the ranch UTV on the property. Please leave them at home. We do have ATV and UTV exceptions for handicap hunters. We have UTV’s on the property to use for getting to the stand if wanted and for game retrieval.

L and J High Point Trophy Hunting Preserve is always going to try to make this a trip of a lifetime for you. We have a local meat processor lined up for an additional fee paid directly to them, and a taxidermist that will work with you to take care of your animal.

At the current time we are offering whitetail deer hunts. If you have any requests to hunt other animals let us know and we will see what we can do for you. As always, we will do our best to accommodate any special needs or requests.
